Meet the Founder
My name is Michelle Loesekann, and my passion for the beauty industry has shaped my life and
career for many years. As a cosmetology educator, salon owner, mentor, and industry advocate, I
have dedicated myself to helping beauty professionals grow their skills, build confidence, and
create successful careers. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of educating and
inspiring students, salon professionals, and future industry leaders. Watching others succeed
through education and opportunity has always been one of my greatest rewards. Over the years, I
noticed something missing throughout our region—a major beauty event that brought together
education, inspiration, networking, and industry innovation. The Southeast once hosted incredible
beauty shows that connected professionals from multiple states, but many of those opportunities
gradually disappeared. That realization inspired me to create the Southeast Regional Beauty Expo.
This event is more than a trade show. It is a movement to reconnect beauty professionals across
the Southeast and provide access to the education, resources, brands, and relationships needed to
thrive in today's ever-changing industry. The Southeast Regional Beauty Expo proudly serves
beauty professionals from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia,
Alabama, and Florida. Whether you are a student, educator, salon owner, barber, esthetician, nail
technician, makeup artist, or beauty brand, our goal is to create an experience that empowers,
educates, and inspires.
 

Our Vision
Our vision is to become the premier beauty industry event throughout the Southeast Region by
creating opportunities for education, collaboration, and professional growth. We are committed to
bringing the beauty show experience back to the Southeast and building a lasting platform that
serves beauty professionals for generations to come. As we grow, our goal is to expand beyond
Spartanburg and establish additional destination events throughout the region. We are currently
working toward bringing the Hair Show back to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in the Spring of 2027
and launching a new Southeast Regional Beauty Expo event in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in the Fall
of 2027. By creating multiple regional events, we will continue expanding our reach and providing
even more opportunities for beauty professionals, students, educators, vendors, and sponsors to
connect and succeed.
